Tile Barn is a small family business run
from the home of it's founders, Peter & Liz Moore. It takes its name from
the barn
adjacent to the traditional Kent Oast House in which they live.
In

How we grow our plants
At Tile Barn we have a large
collection of specimen stock plants that are used for breeding purposes and
to
provide the seed from which all the plants sold at the nursery are grown.
All
our
sales plants are propagated at the nursery, we do not buy in sales stock.
Peter
Moore has raised a number of named cultivars, many of which have set the
standard for enthusiastic growers and for the specialist show bench. Most
of
these cultivars are available on the current sales list, though some are
only
produced in very limited quantities and are not available every year. New
named cultivars with exciting leaf forms have been developed and are being
bulked up ready for release over the next few
seasons
